Watch the interview. Probably my favorite Madonna interview ever.

This interview is non-stop brilliance. She shuts him the fuck down every single time. I don’t think a single pop star since has been capable of pushing boundaries as effectively and defending it so well. 

PREACH, MADGE!!! 

I have to disagree with the comment about shutting that guy down… He was very respectful of her and her art, but he was engaging in a meaningful discussion about what the issue was. She got passionate, sure, but he was level headed and understanding of her opinions.
